Mission's Ministry

Making A Difference
The work of the Lord presses on each day, daily around the world. We realize the smallest contribution can help make a positive difference. As Christians, it is our mission to carry out our Heavenly Father's work. At Cleveland First Baptist Church, our mission is to reach the world for Christ. It is our continuing goal to support Christian missions locally, nationally and internationally.

Local Missions
Cleveland First gives to several local ministries, including the White County Caring and Sharing, White County Christian Learning Center, White County Food Pantry, White County Life, White County Senior Center, and Truett-McConnell College.

Hands On Missions
In addition to giving funds to missions, members of Cleveland First Baptist Church are involved in various mission activities and trips throughout the year through the Brotherhood, Women's Missionary Union, and the Youth and Senior Adult Ministries. Contact the church office for current ministry opportunities.

Cooperative Program Missions Giving
Giving to the Cooperative Program supports a wide array of ministries and missions around the world including: evangelism efforts, children's homes, volunteer missions, missions education, new churches, colleges and universities, collegiate ministries, camps, and much more. Annie Armstrong Emphasis (North American Missions)
Each year, we honor the life and work of Annie Armstrong (1850-1938) when we give to the annual offering for home missions named after her. As a tireless servant of God and a contagious advocate and supporter of mission efforts throughout the world, Annie Armstrong led women to unite in mission endeavors that ultimately led to the formation of Woman's Missionary Union, for which she served as the first corresponding secretary. For more information visitwww.anniearmstrong.com.

Lottie Moon Emphasis (International Missions)
The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering is for the sole purpose of supporting international missions. Every penny of the offering goes to the International Mission Board's overseas budget, thus supporting our missionaries. Recent natural disasters continue to remind us of the urgency of reaching the lost. More information about the Lottie Moon Offering can be found at www.imb.org.
