Student Ministry
The Student Ministry (7th-12th grades) is focused on "Leading Students into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ." Students participate in regular Bible study, worship and ministry. They are given the opportunity and encouraged to serve through a ministry position in the church as well as in the community. Middle school and high school Sunday School classes meet at 9:15 a.m. Sunday evenings (5:00-7:00) are for a small group experience where the Bible and Life meet through intimate discussion and games together. Wednesday we hang out together to pray and learn to apply the scriptures from 6:30-7:30.
Each summer our group travels for a week long mission trip. It is an intentional time of sharing our faith through our actions. For the last several years we have gone to places like Norfolk, VA, Smithfield, NC, Memphis, TN and this summer to Savannah, GA. Our group has focused on helping to rehab houses by replacing roofs, painting, building porches, and wheel chair ramps.
Outdoor wilderness adventures are in the works though camping, canoeing, and other high adventure opportunities.
